Vendor Comments

We have lived here for 20 years and it’s been the best family home, we will miss this perfect location, with everything we need on hand, from a cafe, excellent Chinese takeaway and corner shop over the road to getting into Solihull or Birmingham on the train (Olton train station is a five minute walk away).

Not forgetting our fab neighbours of 20 years!

Our children have thrived in the local schools attending St Margaret’s, Lode Heath and Langley, they have enjoyed playing Rugby on the Old Sils team and dancing at a local tap and ballet school.

We have been so lucky to enjoy this quirky Victorian cottage as there is literally no other property in Solihull like it, although it’s a Victorian terrace it is now way ‘traditional’ it’s so unique, with nooks and crannies in every room and unexpected storage solutions tucked away out of sight.

The high ceilings and generous rooms have always played to its uniqueness allowing it to still feel spacious even when the house is full of kids running around or a big family get together.

My daughter always loved hiding away in the bay window, closing the curtains to create her own den to read while sitting in the sunshine on the window seat. The living room gets glorious sunshine in the morning and is the perfect place to start the day with a cup of tea (if the kids haven’t beaten me to it) when people come for the first time they describe it as a tardis and are always pleasantly surprised.
