Vendor Comments

This house has been our beautiful family home for 40 years. When we first walked into the house, we immediately loved the large front reception room with its unobstructed view out of the window to the park opposite; and that remains the case today. Our children were school age at that time and its proximity to local schools and easy access to transport and shops were also factors ensuring it was a good fit with the needs of our family. The garage at the rear is large so no matter what car we chose to drive, it could easily be safely garaged with room for a workbench and storage in addition.

This has always felt like a lucky home to us. We have been blessed by lovely neighbours throughout our time here and have many happy memories of the numerous family parties and celebrations which have been enjoyed in the sunny, private rear garden and patio or in the spacious rooms and conservatory of the house depending on the season.

As our family grew, the quiet, safe garden and the park opposite were enjoyed by us, our children and grandchildren. The addition of the leisure centre put swimming, exercise classes and the gym within walking distance with the added bonus that the garden was therefore not overlooked at its rear boundary. As we have become older, having a post office and shop within a one minute walk has been appreciated all the more.

We are sad to be leaving what has been a very comfortable, happy home. We are at a point in life where our needs have changed and living on one level is important. This house has been a wonderful family home for us and it is now time for its next phase. We added a conservatory and have updated double glazing and central heating but apart from regular maintenance have not made any other changes as the house already had all we needed. It has the potential for a new family or individual to mould it to fit their needs and we sincerely hope that whoever chooses to live here will be as happy and content as we have been for the last 40 years here.
