We had only viewed a few properties when we luckily found 48 Lyndon Road and knew straight away it was ‘the one’. We fell in love with the house and moved in as a newly married couple with our baby arriving a couple of months later making it into our dream family home.  

We renovated the master bedroom and living room with new flooring and décor and love our cosy feature stove fireplace. As an Italian family the spacious kitchen is the centre of our home and we spend a lot of time cooking with family and friends. It even fits a 3 metre long dining table! The conservatory is a great space for our toddler to play in and easy to keep an eye on while preparing meals. 

The second bedroom at the back of the house is very bright and has a beautiful view of the trees in Olton park which runs behind the garden and is ideal for walks and playing on the swings. Our property is very private as it doesn’t overlook any other houses which is a rare gem. We will miss summer barbecues and fun playing in the mature garden! As the house is south-facing it has a lovely sunny aspect and we enjoy the garden and bright conservatory and kitchen all year round, even in winter. 

We are relocating abroad otherwise we would have definitely considered the huge potential to extend the property and stay in the fantastic location. We have endless happy memories at Lyndon Road and will miss our first family home! We are sure the new owners will be very happy here.
