When Mom and Dad moved into St Bernard’s Road it was their dream home in a dream location. For over 40 years the house has certainly lived up to expectations of being a wonderful family home. 

It will always be remembered by family, friends and the lovely neighbours for its tradition of hosting a huge party on Christmas night for many many years.  There have been family parties from Christenings, birthdays and weddings and it has been a lovely place for the Grandchildren and now Great Grandchildren to visit and play in the spacious, sunny garden. 

From such an unassuming frontage the house is full of surprises as it is larger than you would ever imagine from the outside with a huge impressive hall, spacious rooms and 4 genuine double bedrooms. It is set back off a main road but despite this it is very sheltered from any noise by the mature front garden and long drive. My Mother remembers one Christmas night we managed to cram 8 cars on to the drive for the party! 

It has been a house of many memories for my Mom but it is now time for her to move on and let her family take care of her but I know that she truly hopes that the new owners will make it a family home once more and will be as happy as we all were.
