Vendor Comments

We have loved living in our house in Maxstoke for the last eight years. It was originally built by a local farming family in 1933 to a bespoke architectural design.  We chose the house because of it’s tranquil village location surrounded by farmland, commanding position on the hill and beautiful period features, with the advantage of easy access to major transport links and pleasant towns. We particularly enjoy the warm feel, proportions of the rooms, extensive views across the Warwickshire countryside and the large gardens where our children can play and watch the abundant wildlife.  It is a wonderful, welcoming place to return home to and we have loved walking our dogs across the fields to local pubs.  We have thoroughly enjoyed remodelling the gardens and renovating the house, preserving and replacing period features to create an elegant but comfortable family home;  it has very much been a passion-project for us.  Maxstoke is a very friendly village with an active community and we have made some good friends here.  We wish we could take the house and our wonderful neighbours with us.
