I remember well the day we came to view the property after it had just been built, some 25-plus years ago, and the moment my family and I saw it we all knew this was the house we wanted to make our home. The house itself was more than big enough for a family of four, including two growing teenagers, and we never felt we were on top of each other. There were cosy nooks for us to escape to when we needed our space, but also lovely communal spaces (especially our spacious kitchen/breakfast area which I will miss a lot!) for us to get together.  I have particularly fond memories of summers in our garden - whether it’s having barbecues with friends and family or, as the years went by, watching my grandchildren playing outside. 

We also love our extended conservatory that gets a lot of light and it’s great for throwing parties, not just in the summer evenings but also winter nights – very atmospheric with candle-lights inside and a clear starry night outside! 

The property is extremely well-located. It is walking distance into town and also surrounded by lots of parks where my more active daughter used to go for her morning jogs, or for my husband and I more leisurely strolls. 

It has been a very happy family home for us but life moves on and as much I would love to keep on living in this house, it is impossible for one person alone to maintain. I am sure it would make a wonderful home for another family to build their own happy memories.
