We moved into our home 8 years ago, having decided we were brave enough (or daft enough!) to take on a project for our family home.  While we’d looked at other houses that didn’t need any renovation, we loved number 17 straight away because it’s got a lovely ‘feel’ to it.  One year of hard work and a quite few swear words later, the house had been completely updated and has been a very happy home for us ever since. 

Number 17 has only changed hands once in the last fifty years and if you choose to come and have a look round you’ll understand why.  From it’s super sunny south facing garden, with a plum and an apple tree, to it’s adaptable space and four double bedrooms, it’s a lovely place to be outside and inside.

On a practical note it’s also in a perfect location for schools, transport links to Birmingham via Olton Station which is five minutes away, with Birmingham Airport and the M42/M6 near enough to be useful but not so near as to be intrusive! 

We never thought we’d leave Kimberley Road and do so with a heavy heart as we searched for a long time for our family home and have put a lot of work into making it a lovely place to be – however, we are off on new adventures to the seaside, so it’s time to say goodbye to Solihull.  We hope you’ll be as happy here as we’ve been.
