Vendor Comments

We have been very happy living here for the last twenty two years, and will leave very reluctantly to a smaller home.

We've found this an easy and comfortable house to live in, warm in winter and cool in summer.  Well insulated and draught - free, low maintenance.  Our garden is a quiet green oasis, easy to look after.

Our neighbours here in The Holdens are friendly, and we all appreciate our quiet and convenient location.

We can walk to Yardley Wood railway station in  ten minutes , to buses for Birmingham and Solihull in  a couple of hundred metres.  Stratford Road leads you to the M42 in a quarter of an hour.  Shops in easy walking distance include Waitrose, Aldi, and Tesco.

Local schools are rated good.

These things all combine to make 17 The Holdens a good place to enjoy living.

Why is the address "The Holdens "?  This little development of 17 houses is built on ground that belonged to the Holden family.  Edith Holden wrote and illustrated a minor classic, "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady",  her naturalist's diary for 1906.
