Priscilla and I have lived at 48 Rothwell Drive for 4 years, we have loved our time at the house. We were initially attracted to the exclusivity of Prospect Grange; now a 21 year old development with houses built to a high specification and within the B91 Solihull postcode. Our house was originally the Show Home of the estate.

 

We enjoy the tranquillity of being on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Most of our neighbours are the original purchasers & it is nice to see that very few residents move away from prospect Grange. The estate shares some lovely greenery and a secluded park as well as ample on-street parking, it is minutes away from Solihull Town Centre, the newly developed Parkgate (Shirley) & Solihull Train station, we also have local amenities within a 5 minute walk.

 

Looking back, we really liked the generous driveway, the large full double detached garage, large hallway & lounge and the separate dining area. We also liked that the size of the master bedroom and the design of the house allows for a double bed to be positioned in all 4 bedrooms, with over 2,000 sq ft the house is a good size.

 

Before taking residence we embarked on a Full internal and external refurbishment project which took 3 months, the second stage of the project was completed 12 months ago; this included a front, side and rear landscaping project, building an Orangery and a front Porch. No expense has been spared on the work we have undertaken and we believe the house is flawless, our investment was to improve our home to the highest standards & not to embrace a sale. We have however decided to embark on an opportunity to buy some land (less than 5 minutes from our house) & to have a new house built. We will be sad to leave 48 Rothwell Drive, it will have a place in our heart forever & we are sure the next residents will enjoy the house as well as the improvements we have made, it is a house which is completely ready to be enjoyed with no work required as well as a great investment within B91 Solihull.
