Five years ago we decided to move, looking for a traditional style detached house, with a large garden, near to excellent Junior and Secondary schools and we were lucky enough to find our lovely home. 

 

Since buying the house, we have removed the wall to the eaves in the third bedroom, updated the utility area and lovingly re-decorated throughout adding beautiful oak doors to every room.  Upstairs, all of the bedrooms are spacious and the loft has floorboards, lighting and loft ladders for easy access to extra storage space.  Downstairs, we love having the flexibility of a through lounge dining room, which has made easy work of family parties and a Christmas dinner for 16!  We have a separate utility area, which is now a must for my next house.  The extra space alongside the garage makes it more useable and also provides access to the garden and additional storage.  Our garden is not overlooked and is south facing, so is a real sun trap.  It is a large family garden with plenty of room to entertain family and friends on the patio area.  The road we live on is very quiet and we couldn't ask for nicer neighbours.

 

We are very close to a number of local amenities, with Tudor Grange Academy only a 5 min walk for our son.  Touchwood, Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and a number of local parks and shops are all within walking distance.  The motorway and public transport links are also nearby.

 

This house has suited us perfectly as our family home.  We will be sad to leave, however we have decided to start a new adventure elsewhere.
