Vendor Comments

This house became our home 15 years ago. It’s a wonderful contemporary living space, deceptive in size, updated and modernised throughout. It has proved a versatile home, it’s layout offering flexibility as our family has grown.  The two front rooms, that capture the late afternoon and evening sun, have been used as a playroom, a guest bedroom  and now a lounge and an office. The large open plan kitchen and dining area make entertaining a breeze. Overnight guests can be accommodated comfortably downstairs where they have the advantage of access to the large modern bathroom.  The children, now more grown up, have their own den for TV and gaming, leaving the sitting room for relaxing . The covered decking beyond the kitchen offers a large space to dine all year round or gives the children somewhere to play in any weather, it’s like having an extra room.

Upstairs, the master en-suite bedroom benefits from the sun all day and offers views of the lakes and fields beyond. The bedroom next to this has been a dressing room and a nursery. The third room was added more recently.

The garden is private and quiet. It’s particularly beautiful in the spring when the pink blossom trees and the magnolia are in full bloom, although it has colour throughout the year. Big enough for a garden party or a game of football, it is also easy to maintain. The sun gleams through the eucalyptus trees from early morning whilst the late evening sun sets to the front. The lane is very private, offering a safe place for children to play, or to just relax. If you are lucky, you may see bats, or across in the fields maybe a monk jack deer or a fox.
