This house is a lovely family home. We moved here nearly 30 years ago having bought it from the family who moved in when it was newly built in 1966 - it seems this is a house where people settle down and stay!
It is in a row of individually designed homes set back from the main road and has always been a popular location within the village. It is perfectly placed for access to the local schools and is very handy for buses to Coventry or Solihull. This proved invaluable when our children were old enough to go out on their own but not old enough to drive.
The accommodation itself has all the features for a happy home life. There are enough rooms for people to have their own space and the main rooms are big enough to get everyone together. As it has large windows and is south facing, the light streams in.
The large garden has been a real asset – it could be landscaped but we have used it for rounders, football, cricket and croquet as the family grew up and it has been the location for family parties from christenings, to 18thbirthdays to retirement.
We will miss living here and would not move if we could stay but circumstances have dictated we should look for a bungalow. Our best wishes go to whoever moves in after us. We hope they are as happy here as we have been.
