As soon we viewed this house we fell in love. The homely feel of Kitchen/Dining area, the cosy Lounge, the Bedrooms perfect for us and one each for the children, exactly the home we were looking for.

On the day we moved we received a bit of shock when we realised that our perfect new home was somewhat more in need of cleaning and decorating than we thought on viewing, we must have been wearing our rose tinted glassed when visiting previously!!

 So we set to work, ripped up carpets, cleaned every inch of the house, repainted top to bottom and settled in to our new home with a fresh new clean appearance. Over the years that we have lived here, we gradually added improvements, repairs to the roof, windows replaced that had seen better days, driveway made larger to comfortably fit both our cars and the most dramatic of changes has been to the garden.

 The space was neglected and unusable, the lawn was not visible for all the bushes and trees which had been planted throughout it but after a great deal of hard work, lawn reseeded, decking and fencing replaced, brand new shed, paving area added for the barbeque and pruning and training the stunning Wisteria tree which now spans the width of the garden, it is an amazing space for family visits, the children to play in and animals to enjoy.

 The bathroom has also been completely revamped, with a shower replacing the bath giving lots more space and a real modern fresh and clean look which we really love.

 The conservatory is a great area which the children and cats enjoy spending time in! There is underfloor heating and newly added radiators which keep the area nice and toasty for playing and relaxing but our most used and favourite part of the house has to be the Kitchen/Dining area which drew us to the house on first sight and were we have made many happy memories with family gatherings for birthdays, Christmas and even day to day, mealtimes and catching up with each other and chatting about our day.

 

We will be really sad to leave this house, it is a great location, walking distance to Solihull, shops at the end of each road as well as pubs to enjoy and lovely neighbours but as the children are getting bigger we are now starting to outgrow the house but hope that the next owners will love it and make as many happy memories here as we have been lucky enough to create.
