Three years ago we embarked on an exciting journey which saw us putting our heart and soul into a tired, outdated property, giving it everything it deserved, from the ground up. We gave a lot of attention to the details, spending the time to get things right, and in each room you’ll discover lots of things we’ve really ‘brought out’ in the property, making it a unique place which is a joy to live in. Every part of the house is brand new from new floors, ceilings, internal and external doors, new windows, new electrics, a newly fitted kitchen diner with snug area and a newly laid to lawn garden with new fences leading to a double garage which we're currently using as a workshop. We also managed to include a downstairs w.c./utility and left in an exposed brick wall to show part of the original house and I absolutely love this feature.


A major consideration in our journey, was for it to be a home that wasn’t just for us, but for anyone in the future, so we were keen to preserve it’s sense of potential and give another family a chance to put their stamp on it as well. It seemed like a house that can always give you what you need. It would be easy for us to stay here, as we have so many happy memories of Orchard Avenue as a whole. The neighbours are fantastic, the cul-de-sac is a lovely quiet road and only a 10-15minute walk into Solihull town centre.
