Overview

10a Blythe way is a stunning, 3 storey, 5 double bedroom, 3 en-suite, detached, family home enjoying a peaceful, yet highly convenient cul-de-sac setting in arguably one of the borough’s most desirable locations.

Presented to an exceptional standard throughout, this handsome and impressive, highly specified residence has been subjected to a comprehensive and reassuringly expensive ‘roof-down’ renovation program, to include substantial extensions to the living areas thus creating the ‘must have’ open-plan family living kitchen area, a new roof, landscaped rear gardens and an in & out driveway offering comfortable parking for multiple vehicles, to name but a few of the many thoughtful improvements.

Vendor Comments

“One of the most sought after streets in Solihull, Blythe Way offers so much, being within 10 minutes’ walk of Solihull Town Centre and less than 5 minutes from Brueton Park, as well as offering easy access to the M42 and yet so often, we sit in the lovely west facing garden and we cannot believe we are not in the country, because it is so quiet and secluded. During our time here, we have undertaken a complete renovation & extension of the property, both inside & out & literally top to bottom, which was completed in 2016. We renamed the house “Iroko”, after the special wood surround, used in the rendering of the walls at the front & sides of the property. We love the open plan nature of the living space we have created, which flows beautifully and the ground floor offers the best of all worlds, in terms of the different reception rooms that cater for all the Seasons, throughout the year. During the Spring/Summer months and well into the Autumn, we regularly enjoy the benefits of having the Bifold doors wide open, allowing the Orangery / Patio to merge into one. We have enjoyed landscaping the rear garden area to a high standard, which offers the ideal outside space for any family. Blythe Way is such a friendly cul-de-sac street, with regular communal gatherings of all the neighbours and we will miss these events, when we move on. We are now looking to downsize to a more rural location and we hope that the new owners will continue to enjoy and benefit from all the features we have added to this property, for years to come.”
